People are by and large kind of broke right now. Generally, when we tighten our belts, it’s the extraneous (read: fun) stuff that we forgo first, and for a lot of people, that includes paying to see a movie in the theater when you’re already paying for Netflix, and Hulu, and HBO Max, and Paramount+, and Peacock..

It’s weird. My oldest (13) came out as gay (well, technically pan) and he grew up playing basketball and doing all the typical boy stuff. My second oldest (12) who grew up wearing girl’s clothing and playing with “girl” toys cannot stop ogling his female classmates now that puberty has started to kick in.

Damn, that takes me back to the early 90's where there was only one openly gay kid in my entire grade in high school. We were actually pretty chummy but I remember always feeling self conscious about being friends with the gay kid. Especially after seeing how he would constantly get bullied.

I’m 5'8" and have a California King mattress. My feet are always right at the end of the bed and I can’t imagine how someone much taller than me can sleep on one comfortably. I mean, I like to fully stretch out but you must have to curl yourself up if you’re a tall person.

The times we’ve tipped the most are when the server brought out something like a basket of chips right away because they noticed we were brave enough to try and eat out with four children. At any rate, I’ve seen adults act even worse than children when they’ve had to wait for their food to come out.

Oh Adam Levine....the second you open your mouth you remind us you might have a voice that sells millions of records, but your mind is of a 13 year old.

In Denver they got a towing company that just illegally steals people’s cars and holds them hostage. From what I’ve heard, they are well connected with local government and law enforcement so, even despite legislation to try and stop them, they still get away with it. The cops will just tell you to take them to court. 

The GOP base truly believes that everyone cheats, everyone lies, etc. etc. It would blow their minds to find out that there are people who don’t have to do those things to be successful. 

Ah, yes, the classic “It’s your fault because you didn’t catch me.” justification all these psychopaths trot out when they get caught. 

I remember those tiktoks, and have been working in tech for the past twenty plus years...whoo boy I was like “dead man walking”. The sad part is that they will slinging coffee and kicking themselves for blowing up a pretty sweet gig. 

I think it will still happen, just not on their preferred timeframe. Real estate should really be a long term investment, not a get rich quick scheme. 

In a just world Walmart would ask you how much you want *them* to donate, instead of taking money from you. At any rate, if your store (preferably a big chain one) has those bins to donate grocery items, just grab shit off the shelves and toss in.
