An idiot driving a truck for a carpet cleaning company cut me off. I dialed the number on the truck and the guy who picked up the phone was the guy who cut me off, and the owner of the company. Instead of explaining himself/apologizing, he proceeded to chew me out for having the nerve to call him while I was driving.

That’s a hard 47.

I will admit that sometimes I do envision a timeline where I never settled down and started a family and was making the money I’ve been making over the last 15 years. I can see why men who are in a good profession and making good money might want to run with that as long as they can without other people to support.

I’m needing to replace a 40 year old wood fence and am thinking about going with chain link due to the price and sustainability compared to traditional wood. There are covers that you can buy that go over the fence and hide that it’s actually chain link, or you can even attach wood pickets to hide the metal.

People are afraid of the truth!

Everyone knows the economy completely resets itself when we get a new President so we can all blame whatever happens on that person.

I’ve noticed at bigger companies they don’t want people to think they can spend their entire career there. The name of the game is to constantly be looking to move up. Eventually, you’ll hit a wall and it actually looks worse if you stay instead of looking for a higher position at a different company.

Yeah, it’s basically impossible to have no implicit biases. I just think it's funny that people say this meaning that they aren't racist at all, but actually admitting the opposite.
