Apparently so. But that’s my understanding of how “cancelling” should work. Call out the behavior and let the market do the rest. 

Yep, in both cases the shooters decided that they would do the work of law enforcement on behalf of the cops and justice system, putting themselves in a position where they “had” to defend themselves. Their victims would still be alive had those people decided to just mind their own business or let actual law…

It says more about is fans (celebrities included) that the attempt to “cancel” him did not work. There are enough people who are okay with his material that he can still make a living.

It’s like the people in your office who work a lot harder than they need to like they’re going to be CEO one day. That ain’t how it works anymore and you’re just making a ton of enemies out of the people who know what’s going on.

We know how this will work out because this all stems from slave catcher days, where any white man could self-deputize as law enforcement and be legally protected from any negative outcomes.
