Me too. I commented on another post here wondering how banks are lending people money for vehicles that are worth a lot less than the sale price. Our market was super hot earlier this year and buyers were having to come up with extra cash to cover appraisal gaps and crazy earnest money amounts.

How are lenders even letting this shit happen? I’m on the market for a house in a hot market and nearly every lender is requiring buyers to cover the appraisal gap because the offers are so much higher than the house is really worth - i.e. super risky investment.

Probably not as most colleges only see dollar signs. I have to imagine these undereducated students basically recreating what our current political climate is (minority conservative rule) through the same bad faith tactics until these colleges and universities are dumbed down as well.
