We're just two adults gettin' a stew on!

^ Seconded!
That's what I thought! But then I saw someone else suggest Derek Jacobi, who I think would be just as good.
It's been quite a long time since I read the book, but wasn't Lord Byron a prominent character? Who'd you reckon for him? I only ask because your list is so complete otherwise.
Nailed it.
I absolutely want to see Ian Holm as Norrell. I don't think anyone else would satisfy me. *Edit: Except Derek Jacobi. He'd do it for me too. Cumberdatch would be great as Strange.
Personally, the show didn't grab me until the end of the first season. I know I'm in the minority there though.
Haha — actually the Nicole Kidman one was called BMX Bandits... Not to be confused with The BMX Bandit, a character from That Mitchell and Webb Look. :D
Hmm...No, I'm not seeing it. I don't have DVDs on my plan, so the search results it gives me are limited to streaming.
This post led me to do a quick search which revealed that neither Netflix nor Amazon has Primer on streaming video. Frustrated!
Sometimes, when I'm shoveling snow and it's 30 degrees outside, I resent that I wasn't born someplace that's warm year-round.
GuanoLad, could you supply a link to that blog post? The three actors you mention are spot-on IMO, I'd love to read your thoughts on the rest!
The first time I read it, it honestly didn't occur to me that Pi was "revealing a twist" — I thought he was posing a hypothetical just like he said he was. He gave them the real version and a "believable" version, and does a story have to be believable to be true? I think the movie could just as well handle it that…
That's funny, I always think of him as Leo Bardonaro from M*A*S*H. Only in one episode, but it was a good one.
I have to say I'm a little relieved that I'm not the only one who was bored by JDatE.
For anyone who likes The King in Yellow (and Lovecraft of course) I have to throw a shout out for Algernon Blackwood. Very creepy stuff.
Oh wow! I remember reading Sin Titulo *years* ago. I lost track when progress lapsed for a while...good to hear it's completed. I'll have to go catch up on all of the TX stories now!
Thinking about it this way actually clarifies things a lot I think. Thank you!
There's actually a theory out there that kind of makes Signs "Water weakness" issue totally make sense — http://tinyurl.com/cxrufuv
This was exactly my reaction...he would be amazing!
