Playbility is one major factor. A more expensive guitar is just easier to play. If you’re going to do a song or two, a cheap guitar played through distortion/chorus/delay/etc won’t stand out too much, but if you were to do a whole concert with one, you’ll spend a lot of time tuning, and buy will your hand be tired!
