I still think they should have gone with Thanos’s comic book motivation. With so much discourse about incels radicalizing these days, killing half the universe to impress a girl who won’t give him the time of day makes complete sense as a villain motivation.

Counterpoint:

Sandler is okay but Will Ferrell brings the manic desperation and big moustache energy necessary to play Turner D. Century in the next Sony not Spider-Man blockbuster.

The stink of much of the middle of his career, like Jack and Jill, Pixels and Little Nicky, isn’t so easily gone.

“Thanos wanted to wipe out half of all life because there’s too much life for the universe to sustain. Inherently dumb plan, but understandable.”

I think part of the problem is that Kang’s goal is a little hard to grasp. Thanos wanted to wipe out half of all life because there’s too much life for the universe to sustain.

comics-accurate doesn’t always mean good haha.

Yeah Kang’s “want” never made any sense even though 90% of his dialogue in Loki and Ant-Man 3 was exposition about time travel and timelines and multiverses.

I think that’s always been Kang’s problem. Conquering an infinite multiverse always seems to get really convoluted, as the writing can go in many directions. Doom is generally motivated by selfish advancement, but that can include doing good things if it means stopping a villain that could threaten him. Hopefully the

The executives like Tom Rothman don’t care about quality, they are money focused. They hire cheap directors and writers and put money behind everything else.

Ha!

Once again: it is not the media’s job, nor has it ever been the media’s job, to overlook the flaws in your favorite candidate just because you view it as necessary for the greater good.

They picked the guy who walloped Trump by several million votes, received 12 million more votes than Obama ever got, and won the second largest share of the vote a Democrat has gotten in 60 years. They picked the strongest candidate, whether you like it or not.

For me, that will involve doing what I did in the previous two elections and holding my nose while I vote for the person who is not Trump.

Sometimes voting for the lesser of two evils is all you can do no matter how much you wish it wasn’t.

you should have supported a stronger candidate to begin with”

“I think, perhaps, you don’t realize what will happen to this country should Trump win in November.”

“Existential” doesn’t mean unknown. When someone says he’s an existential threat they mean he’s a threat to the existence of the country (as we know it).  But I agree with you that anyone who doesn’t know the problem trump is at this point is beyond convincing.

Adam Scott playing someone named Ben, you say?

Here’s the thing, Biden is the strongest Democrat in the party. He actually fucking beat Trump once already. He made mincemeat of the rest of the candidates in the primary last time. Then, if he didn’t run, his VP would be the most likely choice - and Trump would most likely beat her. If she ran and didn’t win, or was

Lol, comment section here is exactly what I expected.

A bunch of whining that “the stakes are too high” to make fun of Joe Biden. Once again: it is not the media’s job, nor has it ever been the media’s job, to overlook the flaws in your favorite candidate just because you view it as necessary for the greater good. If
