The description makes it sound like a crossover with Hannibal.
In fact, I'd argue that nearly everything said in this article about anthologies is actually *really* about the "short season" model. Look for a critically and popularly successful dramas with A-list casts and the common factor is not "anthology." It's season length.
This charming man isn't just some boy with a thorn in his side who'll paint a vulgar picture of you in reply. Instead, with death at his elbow, he'll just stretch out and wait back at the old house. A rush and a push and the land is ours; personally, I prefer to keep mine hidden.
You mean like the hundreds of non-superhero movies made every year, several of which are discussed in the article above?
Yeah; and that also explains why Annihilus notices Earth.
That's sort of what he is, though, right down to the "my spaceship, my mission" thing. It's just that everything goes horribly wrong afterwards.
You've even got a good "hook" first scene there with the whole "clandestine space launch" thing. I mean, in contemporary terms Reed is basically Super Elon Musk and then things go wrong. How hard is that to establish?

Man of Steel is basically a Superman movie for people who'd love an Alan Moore's Miracleman movie. For that matter, I'm not sure why no one has yet made a decent adaptation of Phillip Wylie's Gladiator.
Come see daddy's Thing!
Batman Forever is kind of fun, since it's maybe the most comic-booky of the 80s/90s Batman films. Bit of a waste of Two-Face and Tommy Lee Jones, of course, but whatcha gonna do?
I vote for a colon followed by a vertical line. :|
Most of what's after it is book material, too, really. They seem to have picked the moments that are most like the book for the preview.
No, the incestuous Hulk family will be the Guthries.
Old man Logan wants to be a sign painter
First he's got to learn to read
He's gonna be a clown on TV
Flexes his elbow taut and free
"You'd do that to your own brother?"
"I said cots!"
