I never said you weren't around before the internet. I said RC airplanes have been around a lot longer than the internet has, or than you have for that matter.

Maintenance?

The Virginia Tech video mentioned is the biggest misconceived video in the history of FPV/Drones. The Medical College HIRED the pilot to film that video and almost everyone that's actually in the video (cars and people) were participating in the shoot. The problem was the university didn't approve of the shoot that

I had an 02 RT/10 and it actually was one of the cheapest cars I have ever owned. 7 years and lost maybe only $10k on depreciation. Maintenance was fairly cheap. I spent maybe a grand per year average, inclusive of brakes, oil changes (this thing drank a lot of synthetic), tires (expensive), etc. Annoying expenses

My parents got me an RC Helicopter when I was a kid, people didn't call them drones then. Even if they don't have a camera.. people still saying they are drones and have a problem with toys essentially, this is getting a bit ridiculous

They're not drones. They're RC aircraft. Toys.

Iit's called a multi-copter.
Drone implies an automaton of sort.
So, a toy RC multicopter is different how from a toy RC helicopter or a other RC vehicle?

Drones are unmanned and fly themselves. Think military. A predator drone is airplane form and self-flies to a destination. It CAN be run manually if needed but is not necessary.

Just follow these simple rules:

Tyler, I worked the Tomcat for 20 years and I would trade everything I have to be back on a carrier in the middle of the Indian Ocean working on them again. Since leaving the Navy I have never again felt the job satisfaction I did when I watched a Turkey launch knowing that inside it were Avionics that I had

OBD readers are fine up to a point, that point being when a particular car manufacturer decides to get all ambiguous about what the codes actually mean. I've lost count of the number of times I've looked up a code, only to learn that it's a "general sort of wibbly wobbly cary wary type of fault" rather than anything

Haha, that was actually just my mail. It'd been sitting around back at my usual post for 2 weeks, and my NCOs did me a solid and threw it out on a bird headed my way.

So? it's still combat deployment in a combat theater of operations. The hellfire and 30mm rounds aren't exactly dummy rounds for show. And the rotors are kept turning, gunner and pilot remained seated, clearly so the bird could quickly get back into action if called upon.

Hahaha. Step 1: Attach ground wire. Step 2: Plug in intercom. Step 3: Retrieve mail.

The trays that hold the ammo a lot of times become bent from shipping and handling and they have to be just right. If they are off at all they catch on the way into the saideloader and its easier to just pull them off and load them without the tray

On the AH-64 A it was worse than on these C/D birds. The loader used to be attached to the gun itself so you had to be on your knees feeding in one rack of bullets at a time.

You don't run on a flight line and he's hooked up to an ICS cable so his movement is hindered. Not to mention the aircraft is undergoing refueling, so he has time to burn. Aircraft is going to have to wait for the Kiowa to its left to burn off 15 minutes of fuel anyway.

So this is what 15Ys do. Interesting. Also nice to see someone using the A2CU's dick pocket for a tool. I kept a flashlight in mine downrange.

I'm with you. X6M all day or GTFO. The pure fuck you'edness of that vehicle is remarkable. I'm sans dog(s) so once I hit the lotto, I'll lend it to you.

Dear lord, I AM SO SORRY. I wish there was some way I could make this grave injustice up to you. You deserve SO MUCH BETTER than this sort of shabby treatment, and I am truly ashamed. Tell you what — I'll arrange for ten poster-sized, high quality photographs of each decklid in question taken, mounted and framed just
