It fucks me up that there are people who voted Trump who claim they’re allies. Who go “I have minority friends, I have gay friends, I can’t be a bigot or a racist”. You’re still complicit in all this fuckery. You knew EXACTLY what you were doing, and you don’t get to fucking “well actually” when people point this out.

My brother works with third graders in a very poor school where most of the students are black or hispanic. Today a couple of the black children told him they were scared Trump was going to send them to Africa.

Yup. I actually raised my voice at a friend today who said “my theory is that Trump is a secret Democrat.” I told her she was falling into the trap of Trump supporters who say “well he certainly didn’t mean it when he said [X]. He obviously means [Y].”

Either he will buckle under the weight of his incompetence and look to them to dictate policy, or his massive ego will force him to stick to his guns and muddle through.
