Yeah, this is some seriously juvenile behavior. I’ve been in similar situations and I’ve found they often become a pit of drama quicksand, even if you’re just trying to resolve/clarify the issue. If there are any reasonable people in that friend group, they’ll see it for what it is, sooner or later.
