Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but there were 49 students admitted that year who had the same or lower GPAs/SATs as Fisher- 42 of those students were white. Only five in that group were black or Latino.

No one is questioning his right to his opinion. But others are entitled to their opinion as well, and in this situation, it is the opinion of many people that he acted unprofessionally in criticizing her that way. Many people also appear to think his opinion is wildly off-base. Why are these opinions any less valid?

I agree. I’ve loved Johansson in some roles, but the quality of her performance seems quite dependent on the quality of the material (so, if she’s in a mediocre film, her performance will be mediocre, etc.). Whereas Knightly seems to consistently deliver, regardless of the nature of what she’s working with.

On a related note- does it seem odd to anyone else that Stanhope claims he did not feel comfortable talking to Depp about his relationship when he thought his friend was being abused, but now feels entirely cool with publishing this (according to him) without Depp’s knowledge?
