That guy. You know, the one that does the stuff. Works in that department.
They could certainly use a refresher.
That’s better writing than this site deserves right now, honestly.
plus this up
As a human being, I’m gobsmacked that people are voluntarily doing busywork for a multimillionaire for free.
Shouldn’t the stores be doing this when they restock?
I’ve thought for years that such a take would be very successful, as long as they get good actors for the roles. (I’m afraid James Hong may have aged out the title role, but he could do a great job in a supporting role as Chan’s father or grandfather.) Although what I’d really love to see is an accurate-as-possible…
I’m actually... kinda digging the art style? If Rogen can find a successful balance of cheese with melodrama, in the neighborhood of the original live-action movie or the 2012 TV series, I’ll probably watch this.
CGI. Not hand-drawn, alas, but also not another *&$(# animation-live action hybrid, at least.
Check out who’s voiced Splinter in past iterations. I think this will be the third time an Asian has performed the role, and only once has it been by someone with Japanese ancestry, so by that metric, Rogen’s doing better than average!
C’mon, Sam. You were quoting the lyrics to the ‘80s cartoon theme song in the article. You know you’re excited for this.
This seems like a good place to mention that, in addition to his years voicing the DCAU’s Lex Luthor, Clancy Brown has also given voice to another memorable animated capitalist: Eugene Krabs. As hinted at by the header photo to this article, actually.
After his performances as Benny in the LEGO movies and Art in Monsters University, I’m happy to give Day a lot of freedom in doing what he wants in the role.
That is an absolutely terrible pun, so yes, yes I would say that.
Not that I’ve seen; I think they’re just waiting until they succeed in hounding Chris Pratt from the spotlight.
Yeah, not like they could depend on anyone else in the cast for that, after all...
Yeah, as much as I think they would’ve been better served by going with Martinet, this role is right smack dab in the center of Pratt’s wheelhouse, so he’ll do fine with it.
I’m sure this will be released without any complaints from megacorporations or their lapdogs servants political allies.
You couldn’t make space on your list, or extend it, for Masaaki Yuasa’s latest feature, Inu-oh, arriving on Hulu on March 20th?
