I am ready to blast this listicle as ridiculous and designed to generate controversy and clicks, but what’s with the Weezer bashing? If you don’t like Weezer, why did you care enough to post you don’t like them?

I think Buddy Holly was probably more successful. People seem to love it more.

So what was the ending?

I’d been meaning to watch the other shows eventually, but The Other Black Girl was pretty good.

Too bad. I really liked this show.

Except it isn’t merely reworded. Go back and read Ben Jones’ post again,

I loved TBL the first time through. Having read a lot of Chandler when I first saw the movie, I recognized pretty quickly that it was like a Chandler novel with a stoner dude and his angry bowling buddy in place of Philip Marlowe.

Maybe you’ll accept Ben Jones’ explanation. The joke was a specific phrasing joke and not a generalized pedo joke.

Thank You

Also, you seem to be the only angry person on this page.

It’s not quite the same joke as your wording was “delivered it in A minor”. Again, subtle difference, which is why you might have missed it.  It’s basically making the same comment. It’s just a slightly different pedo joke.

See my response to ICM. The second joke was based on the specific wording ICMN used.

I don’t like Macklemore, but I have to respect him for this.

I followed everything. If your comment to CoolhandTim was about the original article making a pedophile joke, everybody got that. CoolhandTim’s comment was a different joke. Same meaning, but different joke based specifically upon your wording. Perhaps you missed that Mr. Wiseguy?

OK, I have not part of this comment beef, but I interpreted your original line as saying that in addition to being a slam on Drake, the line was actually delivered in the key of A-minor.

What Chandler said. 1980 was musically not really part of any trend. Pop culture generally between trends. 80's music wouldn’t really begin until MTV.

With you on Clooney’s adaptation. The novel seemed to have a lot more humor.

Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was a great adaptation.

Liked because I agree with you that the only property that was a complete slog was Secret Invasion.

My bet is if they got the 20 oz beer and took it home its only holds 18 oz of beer and thus the bigger one was still a better value.”
