Can you explain why you (and many others) regard this as a masterpiece? I have never understood the love for this movie, or why the book on which it is based (if it is as close as this article implies; I have not read it) is so well-regarded. It was fine, but it didn’t speak to me in the way that other great movies

I think it’s weird that someone who is friends with and has had a long relationship with someone is expected to immediately distance themselves from that someone for bad behavior.

I agree with your general point, but the change in programming has nothing to do with WBD. They people running the CW are not WBD people, nor do they care much about WBD.  

That is a mischaracterization of what happened.

Are you asserting that residuals are repeatedly paid regardless of whether a single person watches a program or whether the streamer pays any licensing fees?

I assume if they were bringing in eyeballs they would stay. I cannot believe residuals are that much. 

As far as I am aware no decision on renewal has been announced yet.  This may be it.
