Good points, both.

I was just thinking about how we have a Row of Monuments in my hometown where all of the statues are of remarkable Black men and women...

I was wondering which specific people this guy knows who are wearing $300 on the dole and $200 sneakers with no job. Also, this idea that going to a protest means you have no job or called in sick—I just don’t even know where that came from. “You’re at the grocery store instead of at home? You must not have kids."

Welfare’s ok as long as you don’t need it.

I hadn’t even noticed that. Good point!

Don’t worry. George Soros probably caused this guy’s TBI so that he would do something 11 years later to tarnish the image of freedom-loving patriots, thereby promoting the left’s agenda. At no point do you need to wonder whether the left is to blame: it is. Even when it isn’t, it is.

But if unarmed civilians were capable of taking down an armed man, with military training, while he is actively trying to kill people, why would we need to outfit police departments with military equipment? That just wouldn’t make sense, so your account must be flawed. QED.

I get Dunn’s concern. What I don’t get is the U.S. Soccer Federation caving to flag-worshippers. What portion of the people supporting professional women’s soccer in America do you imagine to be right of center?

Live and learn!

I certainly don’t believe that they’ve had 800,000 requests, but they may well have more requests than available seats - I think they allow more reservations than there are seats, so that seating is first come-first served among ticket holders. Then they can show the long lines out the door of people who want to touch

Probably in states where their votes were weighted more heavily.

Buffalo local politicians: Fine. We’ll look at this shit that happened, like, a million years ago, before anybody could possibly have objected to cops choking out a suspect, because some people are just going to fuckin whine about it until we do. *eye roll*

I’m always fascinated by the paradox of cop-lovers’ vision of the police: they’re brave, heroic warriors who protect the citizenry from chaos, but they’re also so fragile, so frightened, so unable to defend themselves from the citizenry that they must be permitted to respond to disobedience with force.

My initial thought, too. Even if we weren’t in the middle of nationwide protests making white supremacists nervous, even if this weren’t happening in other places at the same time, concluding quickly that this was a suicide is suspicious.

Cameron is a Kentucky Republican and Trump supporter. He isn’t going to do anything with this. Except maybe tell the cops what brave hero angel babies they are.

Thanks, Mr.DuckSauce and 727272. I didn’t know how to do that. (I believe I’m what’s referred to as an “old”.)

ALAWWP: Not Black Lives Matter”! All Lives Matter! Well, not that black guy’s, of course.

ALAWWP: So if there’s a mother’s day and a father’s day, when is Angry, Loud and Wrong White People Day?!?
