Friend test drove a Tesla with FSD a few weeks ago. The system needed multiple interventions during the 15-minute test drive. At one point the Tesla salesman even suggested “turn it off and just enjoy the feeling of driving”.

The official term for this was “DUI compartment”

Musk telling Tesla to buy ads to try to get himself a $55b payday by buying those ads on his own private platform so that ad money ALSO goes into his own pocket is the most Musk thing he could do! Well, he would also need to call the shareholders a bunch of pedos if they don’t vote yes, then it would be peak Musk.

Damn, that’s some screwed up crap to be using company funds to try to get the CEO paid even more rather than trying to earn the company money. If I were a stockholder that would only push me even more towards voting no! Which I would do and immediately sell my shares after!

I don’t own any shares in the company personally, nor by proxy as far as I know, and I certainly don’t own an electric vehicle, let alone a Tesla, but all of these moves seem like a desperation ploy by Elon to cash out *right fucking now*. Like, everything is about to fall off a cliff in the most financially…

“above and beyond” = Teslastan for doing the bare minimum, and only when insisting in public.

The way the guy film went from 0-60 on screaming in a few seconds and was recording from the get-go proved they were there to intentionally cause trouble.

I love how the Orange Guy says repeated, “uh...this is a work truck”, as in “oh fuck am I screwed when the boss finds out about this shit....please dont impound”...

My favorite thing about videos like this is when they all scream they have a right to remain silent but they do anything but remain silent. You ain’t arguing your way out of this one. If you truly believe your words, then live by the motto and accept that you’re going to have to have this battle in court.

It seems like most of the automakers have given up on the small affordable car which was supposed to be the entry point into their brands. They might not be hugely profitable - but they get the buyers back in the showroom 4-7 years down the line when they’re ready to upgrade. 

Yeah, I was confused by that too, unless they consider the S to be a hatchback or some other classification.

First, the car; the automaker claims it’s the most powerful electric sedan it has ever produced, boasting an advertised 163 mph top speed and a 2.9 second 0-to-60 mph time.

I don’t know why it bothers me when they put the word “Turbo” at the end of any electric car. I know Turbo means a lot of things but I think big spooling suck in air turbo every time. I wish they would use another word for fast that has to do with electric. I hate to use Lightning because Ford ruined it but I feel…

I love how companies are all like “time is money” and then purposefully waste people’s time and we all just go along with it. Everyone who had to wait two hours just to find out they didn’t have a job anymore should be paid for those two hours.
