David - I’m sorry but this is past patina and firmly into the rust territory. This is even coming from a fellow rust belt inhabitant. It’s not rot yet, but it is serious scale from the look of it.

I bought a fixed 2014 TDI sportwagen in December 2018 and it’s been perfect. I’ve put about 30 thousand miles and has required zero work outside of oil change, wipers and a headlight bulb that burnt out.
This was my question! They link to another article mentioning him up top but that’s it. Also no shaffer the darklord here!
This happened once at my current work where someone accidentally sent an email to a distro that had every employee on it (50k employees) and the next two hours were people replying all to say ‘take me off’ or hilariously ‘stop replying all everyone’ by replying all. In my group we all sat back and laughed for a…
My wife was in a similar place and had a fellowship lined up to start in the fall - they called her on Tuesday and put it on hold. Not canceled yet, but not confirmed either.
I was truly confused by the ranger in the lead pic - until I looked closer and saw the non-NA plate on it.
Definitely rear is better. I also have fond memories of sideways pickup jump seats.
I’ve had a car get a screwdriver in the door lock before to steal a couple bucks in change out of my car.

My exact way of dealing with it too!
I was on a business trip in the Boston two weeks ago and I saw one in traffic and loudly exclaimed 'a new Supra!' and everyone I was with went 'huh' and gave zero fucks.
When I was in highschool I worked a summer at a place that made and delivered bagged ice. While also being one of those strange things you never think about people doing there is a fair amount of operation to get those bags of ice into a gas station or grocery store.
A combine would be the largest vehicle I’ve driven.
I bought a 2014 Sportwagen back in December. Paid $12.5k with 48k miles a 6 speed and the sunroof and I love it. Get 40 mpg on the highway driving 85 and 35mph in town and it’s a hoot to drive.
This is exactly what I wanted with my last purchase having always driven stripped cars.
I have a coworker who’s last name is Null and the amount of screwy things that happen to his account at work, from random emails to getting permissions added and removed is mind-boggling.
I’ve bought lightly used vehicles for the last 15 years when it was time to get a new car but I do need a truck. The issue is all of them are too damn big now. Mid sized trucks today are the same size as most of the full sized trucks I’ve owned in the past and I refuse to daily and park downtown something that big.
