Definitely rear is better. I also have fond memories of sideways pickup jump seats.

I’ve had a car get a screwdriver in the door lock before to steal a couple bucks in change out of my car.
I did have a boss that told me he didn’t like that I rode a motorcycle to work occasionally and that I should stop.
This is the correct take! I love cars and trucks with 15” wheels and hate that tire selection (particularly for trucks) and 15” wheels is getting bad. There are very few off road options in 15” wheel anymore.
I was lucky - my father owned a Alfa Spider, and a Fiat 850 Spider. Later he owned a Ford probe GT (cool in the 90s).
My exact way of dealing with it too!
I was on a business trip in the Boston two weeks ago and I saw one in traffic and loudly exclaimed 'a new Supra!' and everyone I was with went 'huh' and gave zero fucks.
When I was in highschool I worked a summer at a place that made and delivered bagged ice. While also being one of those strange things you never think about people doing there is a fair amount of operation to get those bags of ice into a gas station or grocery store.
A combine would be the largest vehicle I’ve driven.
I bought a 2014 Sportwagen back in December. Paid $12.5k with 48k miles a 6 speed and the sunroof and I love it. Get 40 mpg on the highway driving 85 and 35mph in town and it’s a hoot to drive.
This is exactly what I wanted with my last purchase having always driven stripped cars.
I’ve bought lightly used vehicles for the last 15 years when it was time to get a new car but I do need a truck. The issue is all of them are too damn big now. Mid sized trucks today are the same size as most of the full sized trucks I’ve owned in the past and I refuse to daily and park downtown something that big.
The ranger starts at 24k, you can’t sell less of a truck for the same price.
Thats because everything is loaded with tech now. I’ll admit my expectations are high, but I’m just plain not got to spend $30k on any vehicle full stop.
This is seriously interesting to me - if they can build a small truck with decent towing capacity (like 4k pounds) and sells for under $20k I’d seriously consider it. Give me extended cab and a 6' bed and I’m legitimately interested.
Makes sense, most newer bikes do have a stainless rotor. I’ve never really dug into the tech of them like I have the old bikes.
Makes sense braking forces exerted on the caliper are extreme and cast iron is an extremely durable material. It’s heavy and doesn’t look good but is an excellent friction material that won’t grind away too fast.
Stainless Steel brake rotors!
I’m not sure I’ll have a forever car, but I do have a forever bike. A 71 CB500 that I bought out of the back of a barn. It’s balanced, quirky, quick, loud and fun.
Yep - with the mascot that carried a gun and everything!
