I was talking the fact that the XJ was unibody construction. The renegade is also an ‘upgraded’ suspension technology from the coils and solid axles that the XJ, ZJ, and TJ had. Independent front and rear suspension, while weaker than solid axles, it offers substantially better on road manners and the potential for

People said the same thing with the advent of the unibody XJ and that turned out well.

I’d say two things:

I love 70s Hondas as well for most of the reasons you mentioned. My 71 500 is nearly mechanically identical to your 550 except with slightly worse brakes and a little less power.

I love the old universal Japanese motorcycle, I’ve had 4... They look great, are comfortable, and are easy to keep running.

I ride a 71 Honda CB500 K0

Man, you are lucky you’re sane after all you’ve been through!

I had an old truck I could pull off something similar with. An 87 ford that didn’t have much floor left-there were a couple of holess I could fit my boots though...

Way to go getting the bike back on the road. I did that to my 71 cb500 this spring after it sat for last year.

I would say the Jeep, specifically the cj7. When Chrysler bought it they had big shoes to fill and did ok. The YJ never matched the CJ though.

The difference is that this is a cj6, a whole other beast entirely than a cj5.

I just did this with my 71 cb500 and live in St Louis so I sympathize with all of the above points!

Missouri actually has fairly strict inspections. A safety inspection is requires statewide which checks: brakes, lights, exhaust, suspension, and a bunch of other things. That usually takes about an hour and it is often failed (it is mechanic shops that usually do these so take that as you will).

I’ve been using PayPal for 12 years to purchase and sell on ebay. 99% of the time it goes off without a hitch. The problems have mostly been due to ebay and not paypal as far as dispute go. When a customer files a complaint, eBay handles it, most go as expected, b it I’ve also been screwed.

In Missouri it usually makes sense to not use historic plates as they only allow 1,000 miles per year with very similar restrictions on use as Michigan.

Fair enough... I think if you can get one for the same or less than a clapped out base ninja it’s quite reasonable.

Most of those are actually quite affordable now. Prices have about tripled from just a couple years ago though. I’ve unless it’s something very rare like a 69 honda cb750 k0 you can pick up a decent example for about 3 grand.

It honestly depends on your field. If your in IT the degree doesnt matter 90% of the time. It does seem like an unusually large change for only a degree though. is it a large company ( or a government entity)?

I don’t think that is true. If so how could surveillance video be used in court as there is no one person to verify. It was taken by an automated system and reported as fact.

While incidents do happen, and it is tragic, they are an extremely small percentage of the interactions that occur. The police have 10’s of millions of interactions with citizens a year across the country and maybe a dozen a year that turn this bad. To put it in perspective 114 police officers were killed in 2014.
