I use that method all the time... it works great and it keeps the cables in good conditions

I thought it was an interrogation room

come on! give that man the prize! he did something most surfers cant do

this is just great...

I don't think so, apple is very careful in their designs and uses really high quality materials. The reason of the last phrase is because apple doesn't want users to use cases because it hides the "beauty" of the design.

yeah I agree with you... the renders don't look attractive at all. I don't even like the iPad but if they come up with some nice upgrades and a nice design I'll think about getting one even though the iPad's current design is really nice but still can't find any real use for it.

he might be there, I read it on cultofmac

Yep... that's exactly what's gonna happen.

I wish I could star you

I get that, but when you buy something from Nike or whatever the brand is, you are agreeing in some way to wear the brand, here you are not agreeing in any terms or thing and you don't have the choice (if you choose to sit in a bench with your legs uncovered)...

As a closing design note. One thing I have learned from my experience and that Apple or Jon Ive does perfectly is that don't simulate things... as an example, if you want to make something look like aluminum use aluminum it is disgusting to see fake things. As a student don't worry a lot about those things because it

You have no idea how much you will learn in Industrial Design... and to keep it short I completely agree with most of what you said. About the MBP indicator I just made that quote because what I realized when I first saw that feature, is that why have things to bother your sight when they are not in use, it just

I know it's not permanent but come on it's like they are "forcing" you to be the ad without paying you... and yes it would be really funny to see it

That has to be illegal

I am just finishing a career in ID and I've learned quite a lot about design and yes Dieter Rams is IMO probably one of the best IDs around. I don't blame Apple for their designs, I actually find them impressive because they manage to achieve things that are pretty obvious but as a designer I can tell you that I

I get the fact that it's a team of designers but if you go back to 1997 it's exactly when apple started growing and Ive started designing for Apple with the iMac and then the iPod which are all Ive's designs so I really think he does have a vision within design. The only thing I hate about Ive's and Apple's designs is

Apple's success is thanks to this guy, so I think that if they let Ive go... The company is pretty much useless

Actually that's just fantastic, I mean, who can know more about prosthetic arms than people who actually use and need them...

I don't like that...

what if he never returns to the stage? no iOS 4.3?
