Remember when people thought the Cavs had a shot? That their defense wasn’t trash? That Love could play against the Warriors athletic bigs?

Bet a guy a bar tab tonight: GS/CLE final is a GS sweep. Someone please point a GS weakness out to me that doesn’t involve KD’s ACL or Draymond going nut-hunting again.

While LaMarcus Aldridge puts up big numbers, he is actually butt. Discuss.

And with McCarthy emerging as the new ace, I think they’ll be fine.

“He’s a crybaby” -the guy who threw a national tantrum when split up from his brother at the age of 26.

What he actually thinks, deep down in his heart, is that because he watches hockey he is tougher than guys who watch basketball

Cool-

Also reason enough to say that the automatic intentional walk is stupid.

I can’t be the only one who looks at Jayson Werth and thinks Edge really let himself go.

Thanks for sharing

Bet it’s not just fun they want American kids to grow up hating.

It took a really long time for the world cup to become as prestigious as it is! Worth remembering that the WBC is relatively young, when only a few teams have ever won it feels less monumental. I know I am very excited to watch tonight’s game.

This WBC has been a ton of fun. For baseball-starved fanactics, it has definitely filled the void better than spring training. Definitely not saying it’s some super prestigious tournament that will rival the World Cup some day but at least the games have been competitive and fun to watch.

Yeah, I know what your final conclusion is. Everyone else’s point is, your conclusion is stupid and untethered from the reality of the NBA as a fan-driven business. Also, if Prince was injured, he’d either play anyway (very much the most likely scenario) or he’d cancel/postpone the show (very unlikely). There is zero

I know. It would be like paying to go to a show on Prince’s Piano and a Microphone tour and finding out he was just going to sit on a chair at the side of the stage while Morris Day played the piano and Carmen Electra sang the songs. You’d have no right to feel ripped off, right? You had Prince, a piano, and a

Meh. One star not playing is one thing. All of them - none due to injury? No, the fans shouldn’t expect that. I’m sure marketing materials to sell tickets don’t make it clear either. I don’t have much of an issue with it, but I can see how fans could rightfully be annoyed by this.

As patriotic of a Dong as you’re gonna see

A long, productive relationship with revered icons of the game helps promote a likeable image. Not many clubs can point to associations with guys like Scully, Robinson, Koufax, Campanella, etc, etc. Other clubs have icons, of course, but the Dodgers’ have more of an overall sense of likeability.

It’s a freak accident. And as you said, it could’ve happened in regular old spring training. Players participate because they find joy and pride, and I think international baseball is cool.
