*reliably healthy the last 3 years

Lopez definitely has his flaws, but still a legit scoring threat at the 5, who’s reinventing himself as a threat from behind the arc. He’s also been reliably the last 3 years. He still has plenty of value. (Hear that, Kevin Pritchard??)

The Dodgers being 9 games above .500 in June would be unsurprising, except they’re 19 games above .500.

“Too bad there’s no one with any 1st base exper-”*CRASH* “BAH GAWD, THAT’S RYAN HOWARD’S MUSIC!!”

BAH GAWD, THAT’S RYAN HOWARD’S MUSIC!!

I’m in.

To be fair, based on his play down the stretch, getting Skal at the 28th pick could be the steal of the draft.

Let’s not forget his “We’re the Team to Beat” comments which led to the Phils overtaking the star-studded Mets in the NL East for the next 4 years.

“Human lightning bolt Russell Westbrook scored 12 of those 14 points—including the game-winner with seven seconds left.”

After reading the previous article posted today, this guy looks like Husband/Boyfriend of the Century by comparison.

What kinda lunatics make their PB&J’s like this?? It’s not even just Dwight either.

Don’t ask. Just go with it.

I dont know. I think hes plenty explosive, but obviously no Russell Westbrook or John Wall. Hes constantly compared to Jason Kidd, a soon-to-be Hall-of-Famer, but hes a better athlete than Kidd, and also 2 inches taller, so I dont think theres any doubt theres elite-level potential. MUCH more explosive than DAn

No, the players are 100% right, but the fans are just whiny babies. -the Deadspin commentariat

Westbrook leads the league in PER, Box Plus/Minus and VORP, but whatever, counting stats are overrated and triple doubles are arbitrary. Let’s be contrarian and pick someone else.

Charley Steiner calling Dodger games is pretty brutal.

Diehard fans of every team are annoying, by definition. The Dodgers, not unlike the beloved Cubs, are a balanced mix of young and older personalities, put together by a smart, progressive front office.

Dodgers are both of those things. Especially w/ Donnie Baseball gone.

Cant we be sad about a fun, great player dying so young, while also acknowledging the extremely shitty mistake he made? Or is everything binary?

Watching them all season, sitting Moz and Deng is not evidence of them tanking. Those guys are just unplayable. The only move before last night’s lineup that’s actively hurt the roster is trading Lou.
