When you’re designing around tech that ‘should be’ available, if it isn’t you need to have a plan B. And C.

They did. And Claudia Black and Ben Browder just fit so well together, too - their work on Farscape was darn near magical. Good casting, great writing, humor - SyFy’s got a hell of a bar to clear, if they want to get their name back.

That was pretty much the perfect ensemble, wasn’t it? Swap out any of the characters (as they did for a while with Daniel Jackson’s replacement) and it just doesn’t quite fit.

Which will last for one, maybe two seasons then they’ll go back to paranormal ghost wrangling and pro wrestling.
