Cultural appropriation is still a problem when it’s once-removed. What’s so difficult about that concept?

Wut. Her initial joke wasn’t even at his expense.

If you’re facing harassment or assault on campus, just know that Title IX is not your friend or ally and has zero reason to respond adequately to your claims. If anything, you should see them as being wholly against you.

You’re right that she did not invent doodling. But she has an established and well-regarded body of work in this style that is deeply personal and which Lane Bryant obviously pilfered.

Did you check out Martin’s work? Because those designs in the Lane Bryant ad, in the background and behind the“generic” black on white text on the t-shirt, are also stolen from Martin. It isn’t just three words, it’s a whole aesthetic that is unique to her. You can see some of that work in this photo of her

Why is it that there are always assholes so committed to claiming an artist’s work is too generic to be intellectual property? Lane Bryant seems to think they can make good money off of this design, or they wouldn’t have stolen it and promoted it as part of their brand.

Have you watched Weiner yet? It’s hard to sit through Huma’s pain, but I really wanna watch it again. It’s so perfectly constructed and captures so many priceless moments. Not sure if it’s rentable quite yet tho since I downloaded it *whispers* illegally

So it’s for people who want to throw a dinner party but don’t trust themselves to cook without professional guidance? Why not just have a potluck?

Maybe they were mistakenly using reading glasses to mean corrective lenses

I was getting “She’ll Love Apricot”

I was hoping they’d go anthology, even if (thanks to RM) the idea is overdone right now. But moving the show toward action-adventure and drawing from that wellspring of Cameron/Miller/Spielberg sequels would be so much fun.

Most people don’t realize that she’s actually a baby spy, codename Grand Aryan, sent in by white supremacists to infiltrate the music industry and work her way toward the Illuminati.

Shouldn’t someone in this position be savvy enough to go get educated, or at least coached, about how to discuss this stuff before going out and doing more press and social media? He’s proven himself farther beyond redemption each time he speaks.

Ok, but any idea can be misused. Without the buzzword label, these are just normal empathetic teaching practices. The point in talking openly about them (or even codifying them) is protecting students who need accommodation and ensuring all students feel safe expressing themselves. Shouldn’t that be true of every

There is nothing about what I described that would lead to topics being taken off the table because they’re trauma-inducing. That’s a misuse of the principle.

For real though, who are all these crazies that think Kate has poisoned her kids against Jon? I guess the same crazies who watched the show ten years ago and thought Jon was a loving father while Kate was a shrill bitch.
