I love Serial and I think the only certain conclusion we're going to be able to take away from it is "Damn, the justice system is fucked up." Because regardless of WHO did it, I can't fathom how a jury convicted Adnan beyond a reasonable doubt based on the case presented.

Hae knew Jay was cheating on Stephanie and was going to out him. Jay murdered her, Jen helped with the clean up and they framed Adnan.

See, that sounds awesome. And even if he wants to do a grand romantic gesture, there are ways to do that without making it obnoxiously un-private. A friend of mine hired an accordion player to pop out from behind the bushes while they were having a mountain picnic and that is silly and awesome and not ridiculous.

I'm having a very hard time concentrating on the seriousness of the conversation when this man is so fine.

To be clear, Obama's recent executive action for immigration has nothing to do with the problems these people face. The "women left in danger" were already in danger before it was announced.

I don't think "Marsala" refers to the italian city but to the deep red wine which is produced there.

Total buzzkill here, but that's a pretty accurate depiction of Marsala wine...

Also note worthy: Hannibal Buress, the comedian who re-ignited the Cosby allegations a few months ago, was a writer, and frequent bit actor on the show.

She was a nurse who was cleared to travel from the CDC and after becoming symptomatic, decided to go shopping anyway. A nurse who may have ebola should know upon becoming symptomatic that they MAY HAVE EBOLA. THEN the store had to close down for weeks to decontaminate (mind you, they never held her financially

Ultimately it just turned out to be the result of a really bad promotional campaign by U2 and Apple.

The scene where Drew Barrymore is walking out of that asshole's castle because she FUCKING SAVED HERSELF while whats-his-name was riding up to "rescue" her was a defining moment for my budding feminist self. EVER AFTER 4 EVA.

Granted, as a skinny woman, I probably don't get an opinion on this, but I really can't get behind the "All About That Bass" love. Ultimately, the message seems to be that multiple body types are fine…as long as they get a man's approval.

Agreed. People who have never dealt with addicts truly don't understand. All of her money won't help him. This story just seems like whining to me.

And at some point, throwing money at the person is enabling and hurts more than it helps. I had to cut off a relative for similar reasons and I still worry about him often but at some point you just have to stop. And what people don't realize is it's never just money, either. People who are that far in the depths of

I hate to white knight Madge, but, having been through a similar situation, sometimes you just have to stop trying to fix someone's life. That doesn't mean you stop caring.

me right now:

Awwwww.... dammit. I loved Moxy Fruvous and never cared enough about Jian Ghomeshi to look up whatever the band was he was in and had never made the connection.

I have a little poster that says "Be the Leslie Knope of Whatever You Do."
