Their interest rates are always lower than regular bank rates for one, and they are also sometimes willing to work with individuals to customize loans. If you’re on a 13% interest rate refinancing seems like an excellent idea (the current APR is much lower, I believe). I would shop around, check with your credit card company or other banks, and see what you can get.

I am not in the news, my office building is still standing, and I successfully navigated a MAJOR issue involving middle school peer pressure. I’m exhausted and drinking (but not as much as I'd like because of an impromptu sleepover).

I didn’t burn my office down. I’ve been at this office for almost two years and have been unhappy for the whole of it. The only thing keeping me on is the big project I’ve been working and that is wrapping up.
