That’s fucking hysterical! Mind if I use that?

Just coming here to say that, you beat me to it! I’m shocked they’re still married too.
Well I need to watch it again too then. I was 25 when it came out and did not “get it” either. I kept thinking, “But they died at the end, how is this a female empowerment movie, if THEY DIED at the end?” And since I was the only woman I knew that didn’t “get it” I kept feeling like I was a rotten feminist, still do.
“arguably the most unintentionally homoerotic scene in a Hollywood film ever”
Mr Bird went on a field trip to LACMA with our son’s 3rd grade class. He told me horror stories of having to physically pull kids off of art work, because apparently they don’t teach “Museum Hands” anymore. Please, parents of today, teach your kids Museum Hands.
I my name is J and I’m a happy parent. I’m just throwing this in here because there are so few times when being a happy parent is discussed. I’m 50 and my husband is 49, we have a 9 and 7 year old. We still have sex, but usual only mange it once or twice a week. Our main source of stress, as far as the kids are…
Why would I want to eat that when I can eat this...a maple bacon doughnut from the Nickel Diner in LA?
I’m that way about American for domestic flights. I’m willing to spend a few dollars more to fly with them, knowing it feeds into my mileage balance, which I plump up with their shopping and dining portals as well. United has them as well. If you don’t already use them I recommend.
I haven’t flown Southwest in years. I usually tell people that there’s no place I need to get to badly enough to fly Southwest.
This sounds like the perfect airlines for single people to do exactly what you’re doing. I looked into Spirit when I wanted to fly Mr. Bird and my chicks up to Portland from LA. The more I looked at the various options (and ad campaigns) the more I realized they might not be the most family friendly airline to choose.…
Most girls clothes are not made for play. Buying clothes for an active, 7 yo girl is a pain. Most of it is too short, too fitted, and too pink. Even girls sneakers are not designed for play.
Hummm...I’m not sure if I should file this under...
Now if we could just get a delete button. Not because I want to make asshole-ish statements and then delete them, sometimes I just ramble and make no sense.
You win best comment of the day in my book.
No kidding!? I hadn’t heard, thank you for mentioning. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/apr…
But it’s hard to get over that visceral fear of being busted. People did lengthy jails sentences for possession back in my teens. I know people who still have to lie about their decades old pot busts to get/keep a job. It’s been legal in my state (for medical purposes) for awhile now, but I still clinch up whenever I…
“Why wouldn’t you want to date someone who sits on the couch all day, eating Cheetos and watching Spongebob?”
Amateurs. Filing deadline is today.
Yup, even when they’re your own and you serve booze.
Yeah we’re in that lull between “Your friend’s kid’s 1st though 5th birthday parties” and “Your parents friends funerals”. Next up: “OMG they’re turning 10!” and “Quinceañera and Sweet Sixteen” madness. It really never ends.
