True. I’m thinking more along the lines of availability in the US though. With the SUV and truck sales as they are here, offering the truck in the US market wouldn’t be all that surprising. MB already has a diesel presence in the SUV market in the US, so the possibility of them adding the diesel option would not be…

What’s the weight of this thing? The gripe I had with the G37s Coupe (of which I had a 2008 model until this past April) was that it was heavy. ~3700lbs heavy (I swear the door said ~3800, but in the interest of verifiable numbers wiki says 3709 for the Sport 6MT, so we’ll go with that).

First and foremost I hope there were no fatalities and those injured make a full recovery.

OK, I’m going to go waaaay the f’ out there. It’s way cheap, so there will be lots of room for interesting things to be done to it. Turn up the wick on the boost and it’ll be plenty quick. I learned to drive on one of these. Plenty of fun to be had.

Thankfully diesel seems to be fine so I’ve been fine with the Canyon. The wife’s car is at half tank and she doesn’t need to go anywhere…
