Four years ago I was at Road Atlanta when the other UOP Shadow crashed. Straight into the tire wall outside 12. The car is buried under the tires behind the white flatbed (assuming the photo attached). Scariest wreck I’ve seen in person. And that includes the couple times I stuffed racecars into tire barriers...

As a user of the HANS device, Dr. Hubbard thank you. Rest in peace good sir.

I think it’s closer to the RS5 Sportback than the A7. Not bad in my opinion. I’m still curious how far the Taycan will deviate from the concept. Either this or the Taycan could be an interesting option for my next commuter vehicle in a few years.

Regarding the servicing where you purchase thing, about eight years ago while looking for a new-to-me car I had a dealer tell me they wouldn’t work on a CPO car purchased from a difference dealer (who was out of state) and that I’d have to get it serviced at the selling dealer. The sales guy wouldn’t answer my

IMSA’s YouTube channel has been on an uploading spree lately. This article made me think of this one:

I’ve heard rumors from people who flagged Road Atlanta at that time that the quoted attendance at races wasn’t quite matching up with reality, but the number of torn ticket stubs DID match up. The implication being RA was used as a money laundering operation. Can’t say I’d be surprised given the various bits of

Maybe There Yugo Again? A really bad pun-laden car show with those two wrenching on a Yugo?

Remember kids...

I thought the Sebring race was not until 2019?

I feel a need to haul kids and ass in that thing.

Not bad. But this is how a Lambo should look :)

Seems like a good time to dig this out again

My entire issue with the NV’s comes down to the 10-under-the-limit-in-the-left-lane a-hole in an NV2500 I inevitably end up behind every damn day on my commute home. No amount of honking or mean looks phases this dude. His eyes reveal him to be completely dead inside. This is truly the devils van.

I was moving across country from Atlanta to Portland (Oregon) in January quite a few years ago. I had the sum total of my belongings either in the bed of the Ranger, or stuffed into the cab (extended cab with the 4 doors and really crappy jumpseats in the back). I had that thing packed absolutely full inside and out.

Oh wow, that is bad.

Or in my case you would get pulled off the track when the car broke down. Repeatedly. Because they couldn’t afford to maintain them.

So what you’re saying is it IS a good time to buy an additional car if you are so able and inclined?

I do my part daily to prove that incorrect. I commute along Peachtree / PIB between Buckhead and Norcross. Lane keeping, achieving anything remotely close to the speed limit, and proceeding within 10s of a light turning green all are apparently optional in that corridor. Dashcam and train horn are on my list of next
