Tom - For new vehicles that are ordered is it typical for dealers to be the same on price or do those prices vary by location as well? I’ve not bought a brand new vehicle from dealer inventory or ordered one with specific options before (but about to it looks like), so a bit curious to know.

How about this one?

Wait, you’re going to come in here and try to tell me that racecars don’t have GPS? Now I KNOW you’re full of it. How else would NASCAR (best drivers in the world by far) know where to go?

So just want to make sure I get this straight: nobody is allowed to make a joke about a car company’s practice of charging more for removing items unless you are very specifically talking about a subset of the cars they produce? Even when it’s a street car that they’ve removed a bunch of stuff from so it becomes

Seriously? You’re hung up on “It’s a racecar, so it’s different!”? Wow, take it as a joke and walk away already.

You’ve officially lost at the internet for today. Well done.

There is a fix for that Doug, it’s Ludacris mode

Because that’s apparently how much the most hopped-up, race ready Porsche Cayman GT4 will cost you. At least before you start adding removing options, anyway.

Late entry, or rather addendum to the Big Rig entry. I present the Kenworth W900L with a 3 stick transmission. Just try driving this in traffic.

Pfft, I want my Sexy Monroney Sticker to get at least 69mpg combined cycle.

Something old and classically British. Because pushing the car over to the side of the road in the middle of traffic sucks.

Dude was just applying for a job... he just misunderstood “battery”.

Aut inveniam viam aut faciam. Never underestimate the will of a small child.

Sounds like someone has some serious, albeit now blue, balls.

1970 Mini. RHD, imported from England about 8 years ago. It spent a little over two years at a friend’s house two states away (his basement was basically a full on automotive shop, mine was, well, I had a small garage full of jack squat). I’d drive up almost every other weekend and work on the thing until we got it

There needs to be some clarification on this question. Is this a DD or a weekender? For my DD I sure as heck want something I spend as little time / money in maintenance on as possible. It should get me to work, get me home and repeat that process reliably for the cost of gas, an oil change and tires as often as

I can’t wait for the color changing special edition!

DAMN. I was worried exactly about this very scenario. I really want one of the crew-cab long bed Canyons as a family car (trust me, it makes sense compared to owning both a truck and a coupe that can’t fit a carseat right now) and have been thinking diesel if the numbers make sense ($3750 up-charge vs fuel price /

I’ve been stalking the GMC Canyon diesel the last little bit here... Been trying to avoid putting on my tinfoil hat, but I can’t help but wonder if there is a related reason for the mileage numbers to have been delayed from summer to late summer, then to sometime during the fall.
