My chattel better be returned from bailment with care if they expect a little quid pro quo...

Let me tell you where I will not be found if I have the money for a yacht of such magnitude... ANYWHERE COLD ENOUGH TO REQUIRE AND ICE BREAKER.

We’ve been priming things for a few years now. Love it. Bought almost 200lbs of weights through Prime and got free 2-day shipping that had to be nearly the price of the membership saved in shipping fees right there.

Well yeah, the cheat codes are widely known by now...

Every time I see one of the NASCAR officials with their white helmets all I can think is spaceballs:

I’ll take the 15 ponies... in this:

I had my automotive youth in Portland. I grew up karting at that track (Pat’s Acres, which incidentally, was the name of the kid’s table at my wedding. Other tables were for other normal-sized tracks).

Is the 2.2d on the side noting that it’ll have Merc’s 2.2L diesel???

I’m going with Crack Pipe because building your own is part of the point of these cars IMHO. If it were just price I’d say it’s about right, but there is more to it for me. Go take that $25k and build one of your own exactly how you want it and from that experience know everything you need to in order to keep it

In ATL I swear drivers are getting worse. It’s like there’s a competition for who can be the worst driver possible... AND EVERYONE IS WINNING.

Now playing

Nuvolari. Because of the badassery that comes out of his mouth:

Side note, nice MR2! I’m on a ChumpCar team with a first gen engine swapped with a Camry V6. Seriously fun track car.

There was, I watched one get delivered factory new in America, bought from an American dealer (Portland, Oregon) to my father.

Side note, I’ve seen one in the wild from delivery. My dad had one factory new with the manual. Decent cars, shit turning radius, feels like a sporty boat quite frankly.

The second gen had the manual as an option. 2007 onward. Same Wiki article, but under second gen below (your quote comes from the 1998 first gen)

It’s not the miles, it’s the quality of miles and the maintenance during those miles *for a car that will be a daily driver when I already have too many other projects to work on* that scare me. Living diagonally across the country from my parents I see them only a couple times a year. So getting to drive their cars

#sad

I’d do that, but my mom would probably send me to timeout for missing an apex and add time for any clipped cones.

I see mine in a box in the garage every day (built a large plywood container to protect it while building the ChumpCar). It somewhat depresses me as I am having trouble finding the time to pull it out of the box and start the full tear-down restoration (it’s fine right now... just would be better with a good deep
