Turin, Italy. Beautiful Italian country in the background, beautiful Italian city in the foreground, and plenty of wide open sidewalks for driving :)

Jebus, that is still heavy :(

Better question, can I get a battery/motor-less version for $20k now and just put an LSx motor in it from the start? Would probably save some weight, which could lead to the ability to swap out the suspension for lighter components as well (since in its current form it has to deal with a significant amount of weight

Speaking of the gift of a Miata, but not actually a Miata gift. On my 18th birthday I was mowing the lawn and my dad drives home in a red Miata. Yeah, my dad bought himself a Miata for weekend drives out into the countryside... on my birthday. I got to take it out for a quick spin around the neighborhood. And that

Also, another shirt site car related: http://blipshift.com/ I got this one for my dad (and myself).

Clearly the answer is this.

Another shot across the bow in VW's beigekrieg?

Volvo I'd Like to (Scandinavian) Flick?

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz (SLS AMG Black Series)?

When Matt comes down from this high it is not going to be pretty. We'll probably need to put him on suicide watch.

Re 1st: That's some spicy curry!

Best sounding car (any car counts, road, race, current, not current)?

But hold the KERS. Don't need that breaking every other drive.

Slight correction. It's 55 once you get to the N. Springs MARTA station exit heading S, 65 up until then. The shoulder lane ends before that point. So even worse than you've originally stated, 65 / 45.

That doesn't appear to include the upgrade spec'd in the article :(. Will have to monitor to see what the list turns out to be.

"These upgrades are available and any Volvo dealer and can be applied to new or used cars."

Both my father and I have taken his V70R through a back-woods twisty 55mph zone mountain road with turns that top out at 35mph apex speeds multiple times without cooking the brakes. I'd be pretty confident the Polestars would have different/other/better brakes than stock Volvos.

Most of my driving instructors used wussy little orange cones to mark the line through a corner...

Totally agreed. As a driver I know that white stuff is snow or ice and will be slippery and I can drive accordingly. That black "cleared" stuff? No freakin' clue until I'm in a low/no traction event. I was taught to drive on the "known" surface, even if it may be slippery itself. I don't have your 20 years in

I've seen it be the case in may states that they stop selling beer 1hr before the end of the event. One particular race that no longer exists used to have a spec miata race that would finish right around an hour after the main event just so they could continue beer sales through the duration :).
