Agreed. I understand the whole "being in shock" angle that was mentioned, but that (to me) is still no excuse for the driver not even showing the least bit of concern for Ant in the interview afterward. I didn't hear an "I hope he is ok" or "I wish him a speedy recovery" or anything even remotely close. Someone who

Look up Radio Le Mans on the webz for the future. They stream live commentary on the race, and do a rather good job of it I must say. I had to work out in my garage for a bit this weekend and while the live streaming on [SpeedTV.com] was great when available I mainly had Radio Le Mans playing at full blast.

Also, don't move to a neighborhood with a shitty HOA. I got yelled at ("nice" letter threatening fines) for changing the oil in my truck in the driveway. I asked if they'd pay the difference in cost between DIY and taking it to a shop, they shut up. Since the recession hit they've been better about letting folks

Next stop: Star in a Reasonably Priced Car!!!

Y'all are really treating us well lately. Is this because Roy left us and you're trying to prevent feelings of abandonment through material compensation? If so, I'm down with that.

I'd second the return of DOTS and PCH. I miss Murilee.

Every time I see photos of the e-tron it seems to look better and better. That car is like sex with the hot, good girl next door who suddenly busts out whips, chains and some leathers. Audi, please bring it to Petit! I promise I'll even stop stalking McNish... maybe.

Just get the kid a 2CV. It'll look about the same AND teach them how to fix a car... might be cheaper as well.

No wonder the Chinese do poorly in endurance cycling events like the Tour de France... their bikes are made from 1" dia steel bars!

May the force be with you before, during and after the surgery.

I'd always heard "Speed costs money; how fast do you want to go?"

OK, the thought of having Mr. Lloyd contributing driving tips articles just made me giggle with glee as much as reading the Project Grocery Getter posts by Mr. Holland.

Dear Bill,

Welcome Micki! Talk about bringing some serious high quality firepower to Jalopnik. So, will "Fiery Death" become "Conflagrant Demise?"

Damn treehuggers.

I pass that sign every morning... while stuck behind some dipshit doing 5-under in the left lane with no one in front of them. Pisses me off to no end. Half of them seem to think they're traffic enforcement on speed watch and do everything they can to prevent anyone from getting anywhere close to breaking the speed

The process for putting it all together could be great, and I'm sure it is based on stuff I've read about their quality processes of intentionally injecting errors to validate their controls. But if the parts were cheap and poorly constructed before Toyota received them the net result is going to be, well, cheap.

Cheap Car Built Cheaply! That and other obvious news at 11.

I'm that dipshit that would twist the throttle until it stops more often than I should. I'd be dead, squashed against a wall within the first few hours. I'm already trying my damnedest to quit putting so much pressure on the right pedal.
