Depends on how much you drive in a week! When I had an RX-8, I used to add a 1/2 to a whole quart every 1000 miles or so. If I had one now, I would pre-mix for sure.

At Mazda, we used to tell RX-8 customers "A redline a day keeps the mechanic away."

It should be no surprise Doug that my mom does this. And used to remind me once or twice a year to do it to my Road & Tracks, etc.

Doug is clearly a massive license plate enthusiast. This should be obvious based on the number of articles he writes about plates, the pictures he posts online about plates, and, above all else, the number of license plates he owns and displays in videos!

We are all missing the obvious fact that Michelle Obama (along with all other Homo Sapiens) IS AN APE. Seriously, I have never understood why calling someone an ape is an insult. It's like the entire country just ignored biology class in elementary school.

There are two kinds of car enthusiasts: those who understand the Miata/Lotus and those who don't. It's ok, one day you will get there!

Land Rover products can be reliable if you only own them for a couple of months and get really lucky!!

I have never understood brake-checking. You are setting yourself up to get rear-ended. Sure the other driver's insurance company may pay out the claim (assuming the brake-checker lies about the cause of the accident), but even then, your car will be out of commission for at least a week or two during repairs, will

The end result in absolutely amazing. The car only got minor performance modifications like an improved intake and exhaust, but it didn’t need much. We’re talking about moving a 250 horsepower engine from the 3,100-pound RX-8 into a 1,900-pound MX-5. “The car moves,” Dan said after a test drive, “plain and simple.”

Doug did exactly this. There was unanimous agreement that AMG Wagon was the best vehicle of the lot!

This would be better with a Hummer

After it was crushed, Doug donated the PT and the Saturn to the junk yard so they could remove all of the usable parts and sell them. Other than the roof and some interior and engine bay bits, the cars were mostly salvageable: wheels, majority of the seats, interior bits, doors, etc!

Dude. I ran out of bread so I made a sandwich with a bagel today. So good.

One of my favorite parts of the weekend (and there were many) was when my wife called and asked me how my day was going. I responded "Great! I bought a 20% share of a Saturn!!"

V wagon had an approx 30% MT take rate. The coupe and sedan were at 10% MT.

Mazda builds a dedicated RWD platform for the Miata and they use it for just one car. One car! Make a Miata coupe, or a sedan, or a wagon, or a pickup, or a shooting brake! Why hasn't this happened yet?

But when you actually look at the photo for a while, you can tell it's a little off. Those don't look like racing tires at all; they're more like all-seasons. That wing is so oddly placed, and it has this Escher painting-esque way of fitting in with the actual body panels. It also casts no shadow over the rest of the

This one had me laughing so hard I had to close my office door.

Many cars, V included, wont be able to accept a donut because of the massive size of brake rotors these days
