Back at ya!
Those are some good kids you’ve got in your neighborhood. What a sweet gesture to include that child and help make him comfortable. I hope their parents are proud of them, because that is truly touching.
Truest statement about wine I’ve read all night...!
Lol, you should be fine. I hope you enjoy the wine if you order it.
I just got onto the sheet mask train; I tried the TonyMoly “I’m Real-Avocado” mask, and my skin feels like velvet. I hope it lasts a few days.
Just make sure you live in a state that allows delivery of alcohol by mail; when I lived in MA, I couldn’t be in a wine-of-the-month club because it’s not legal in MA.
I’m with you. I think pyrotechnics should be left to city-organized parties not backyard drunks. I’m mostly bothered by the complete and utter disregard I see here in my neighborhood for others.
Sounds like your neighborhood is pretty good. I wouldn’t call for shunning, but... I hope shunning works. Because if they’re going to intentionally distress two veterans who served and came home because their egos say ME-ME-ME, they deserve the shunning.
That’s a shame. This is a decent red blend: not too sweet, not too dry; good acidity and tartness with a lingering smooth jamminess. Probably my favorite bottle they make.
both of my dogs eat my underpants. Worse, i can tell which of them is guilty by the state of the remnants. D:
See, this kind of thing is really troublesome to me. How hard is it to be respectful of someone else? If youre approached you say, Oh wow, I had no idea; I’ll keep it down; and then you let them know that these are the times you expect things to happen.
Exactly— a quick invite to the bbq and mention of family backyard fireworks goes a long way. Even if they opt out, they know to expect a crowd and noise. A little neighborly behavior helps us all.
haha I should be good there
That’s cool for them, but not everyone feels that way—- especially the guys who were drafted into Viet Nam, like my neighbor. Consideration is free for everyone.
Kindness goes a long way... :)
I keep hoping for it to come so we dont have to deal with the crap that this election cycle promises to bring.... :/
Please remember to be considerate of your neighbors this Independence Day weekend in the USA. While you may love fireworks, there may be a combat veteran suffering from PTSD close by. Try to remember that loud noises can scare people (and pets), especially late at night.
Thank you. Here’s hoping for a good year.
It’s a red wine blend. They make Apothic Red, Apothic Dark (which I love), a white I’ve never tried, and Crush. Crush is new for me, and it is definitely delicious.
I got all of the requirements, paperwork wise, settled for my acceptance into nursing school. I start on the 18th and I am so excited/terrified.
