Right now? Literally all of it except for my grades. I just think I don’t want to be a nurse anymore because school has been so horrible

Nursing school sucks. That is all.
I evacuated for Matthew last year and I drove three states away; stopping and calling hotels along the way: not a single one would take me and my dogs. I ended up camping in my car for three days. We stayed put for Irma precisely because the early variability in the models, and my previous inability to find a safe…
Something good: My 16-year-old dog had a tumor removed, successfully, and has been feeling so good that she’s been using her cone as a weapon to gain revenge on me for banishing her to it.
I bought stuff, the delivery of which is delayed due to Irma. I hope everyone is safe; my sephora crap can wait. :\
To put the Coast Guard’s budget into perspective: It’s YEARLY budget is the size of the budget for ONE DAY operating the US Navy. They’re the smallest service, the oldest service, and do more to protect to people of the US on a day-to-day basis than any other federal group. Theirs is literally the worse one to cut.
If he really loves the Coast Guard, he could show it by rejecting proposals to continuously cut their budget.
That is sad news. Thank you for the confirmation.
I got a sample of Nars’ creamy concealer, and I really like it but I heard rumblings of animal testing. :(
That is literally the nicest thing I’ve seen anywhere all day. What a wonderful gesture from him.
Its miserable (here in Georgia).
SO READY for fall. I am dying from sweat-induced grossness.
I did the same with my PlayBox. It did introduce me to a skin care item I really like (Peter Roth’s waterdrench moisturizer), but I just thought it was kinda meh overall.
I was going to make a similar comment. My text book entries concerning culture were equally horrific as the book here, but does not share this title.
I hate this guy. I hate the state of Georgia, I hate living here. And I hate the dumbasses who voted for this guy in spite of the evidence that says he loathes his constituents. I hope he gets chronic diarrhea.
I’m halfway through nursing school. The best advice I was given was “Learn to say no, and mean it, to everything except school.” I missed weddings, parties, thanksgivings, obligations to my husband’s career, etc. But I passed the first half. The people who tried to do all of that? Not so much. Find a band of…
The divorces happened both in the open and under the same guise that those on your list did. The ones in the open were like a Jerry Springer episode in real time. This happened... oh, maybe 5 years ago on my particular timeline. Before “curating” their “brand” really took root for so many.
It’s the descriptor preceding it to which I object.
The wedding industrial complex has convinced many otherwise, though your point is a good one. I went through this very cycle in the mid aughts, when FB was still relatively new; it was annoying as hell. Then the babies. Then the divorces. And then the second marriages. Filter them out or tune out. Otherwise, the noise…
In a few months, it’ll be babies. Disconnect from your social media; it is what saved me from a case of the Comparisons.
