I’m glad that there are aspects of his leadership that are less crappy than this bill. I’m just saying, this place sucks, and there’s way too much “sincerely held religious beliefs” crap.

This state is horrible. If the governor actually vetoes this bill, I will be shocked.
I kept my last name. His family despises that, and addresses any correspondence to Mr and Mrs So-and-So, instead of Mr So-and-So and Ms. Ethnic-Looking-Surname. His CO hates that he has to, on occassion, spell my last name properly, and the gate guard on base frequently gives us the hairy eyeball when we enter…
It’s reassuring to read that there are some people who can be level-headed about the issue. I hope that your numbers increase, and the power of the NRA/gun lobby are diminished.
This is a scary country to live in. And this is a scary state within that scary country.
Honestly? No one. No one “needs” a gun. I’ve been home as a child during a home invasion, and also alone as an adult. No gun either time, both times the robbers left empty handed. Guns are a weird cultural obsession in the US and the South in particular. I can’t explain it. I just wish it would end.
Don’t forget about all the random “Christian” billboards....followed by ads for strip joints.
Its frustrating, sure. But its instances like this that make me very, very certain we should have even stricter control over guns in this country. And I’m sure it doesn’t make me popular where I live but I think guns should be a privilege not a right, and that SO MANY people should have theirs taken away. Starting…
If you’re so worried about your safety that you’re strapped while you’re out shopping, STAY FRIGGIN HOME
Yeah, I have had too many recent encounters to even mention things to people anymore. I had a gun pulled on my while parking about two months ago because I took “his” spot. And three days ago some moron with a trailer attached to his truck whipped one out of the window to point it at me for being in the middle lane…
That was my first intro to Tarte’s product line, and I was hooked.
Georgia’s just as bad as Texas. I did complain but I doubt that anything will come of it. It’s so hard to live in the red south as a (very) blue Bostonian during a ridiculously circus-like election year. So much DERP in public.
Just came back from the GROCERY STORE.
I think its totally worth it. I’m a lightly-tanned (waaah, no more working on a boat) olive-skinned brunette, so the Dim powder really picks up the good part of my very-faded tan and emphasizes it (and my bones) nicely.
That’s OK, I can manage slow storytelling.
We don’t have kids, but we talk about it: the dogs’ health is reflected there. It never ends. :/
I just got the Hourglass ambient lighting powder in Dim, and OHH MAN do I ever love it—- so soft, so delicate, so pretty, so blendable. I want another in their powder series, like a blush or something.
It’s SO GOOD but I haven’t seen it yet. I’m looking forward to catching up though, after your comment!
So, let’s talk hypotheticals.
I dunno... Florida’s pretty bad but they have better beaches and cleaner oceans than Georgia. Plus, they didn’t JUST file to make it legal for people with “sincerely held religious beliefs” to (legally!) discriminate against LGBTQ people.
