Alien Astronauts Ate My Brain

Oh, Reese...you just seem like a real jerk.

My Rott just turned one. He did the same. (Also, just a note of caution: hide all sharp objects, and keep your blinds closed unless you want to have surgery to remove your razor, and to replace a storm window. And no expensive undies. He will eat them. Whole. Ohh, Rottweilers!)

One good female character. One. Not enough.

I have nothing to add, really, except to say I wish that this character (or someone very much like her) would appear in The Walking Dead, because there's a serious dearth of good female characters on that show.

I'm having a weird rainy day, but its gonna end well: drinking a little Dolcetto, eating some shortbread cookies, and watching Magic Mike. Heh. Hope all of you dears out there are having a great night!

My boss wants me to get my Captain's license. This is both awesome and scary. I'm not sure I want to say yes, because its a long process and a lot of paperwork (gag), and expensive. AH! It could be so much fun! Plus, more money than as a mate. I'm a pretty bad driver of cars, though, so there's that...

That sounds spectacular. I'm really quite jealous because I've always wanted to go to Big Sur and have not yet made it. Maybe this will be the year. :)

That sounds like a hell of a fun party. What a great idea!

See? Better things happen in your 30's.

I will say this: as 20 draws to a close, I find that I'm more confident (in my looks, my capabilities, my skills, my relationships, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g), more in control, more satisfied (also in everything!), and less anxious than I was when I was at the early side of 20. Sounds cliche, but I truly think we all get a

A rave? Wooo! Been a long time since I've been to one of those. :)

I have a job I love, too. It's so nice to be able to look forward to going to work... even if it means being subjected to the gremlins of Spring Break 2013.

That's exactly what it feels like, too! Like I'm finally solidifying as an actual adult. It's just a little awesome!

My 30th birthday looms, and I am very excited about the following:

well, jezebelles and jezefellas, its been many months since i last commented here— probably around the time the swap between systems occurred. i don't have much to add thats worthwhile, other than to say i still live in the keys and holy smokes it's cold right now. rain and gusting winds and a sunburn that won't quit

...for now! Sounds like there should be a maniacal laugh after that statement. :)

My Rottie is out of the Cone of Shame, two weeks after having surgery to remove the Schick Quattro he ate. :)

West. Been here since I got laid off in 2011, and I'm coming up on my first anniversary here.
