NGL I missed the post that you were going on strike so I spent a week thinking it was a very slow news week. Then after about a week I thought to check Luke’s Twitter and saw that you had just gotten the new contract.

Downloading a 60 GB patch.

Isn’t this a fairly well-known strategy ever since Demon’s Souls? Shoot a guy with a bow, run away, wait until they reset, sneak up behind them and backstab. Rinse and repeat.

They won’t do it with the first bridge. It’ll be on the 17th bridge or some shit when we’re all comfortable. “Oh, you weren’t wearing the ring that reduces the noise you make when walking? Guess you’re dragon food now.”

The warlock envy is real in pvp when hunters get 4-6 kills consistently with each ulti and I’m lucky to get 2 :p

From this it sounds to me more like they brought the class in line with the others :P.

Nah.

I’d file that under the category “person saying stupid thing ironically on the internet, forgetting that irony doesn’t work in text and that everyone can see and that the internet is forever”. Considering how burgeoning that particular category is that also seems reasonable.

Well, the article explains that in Tekken/fighting games the thing she said is slang for “a character needs this to be good”. So she probably said it with that as the intent. Not necessarily meaning that all others are worthless, but that for her the height is important in her choice of partner.

Honestly it just sounds like she wanted to say “I want men I date to be taller than 170cm” but used slang to say it. A lot of women are very specific about the man needing to be taller than them so it’s hardly a surprising statement.

Irrelevant since it’s a completely different scenario, but okay.

That didn’t happen for me at all, but I think it showed the PS4 version as an option. Maybe there’s a system option whether to auto install stuff? I tend to disable a lot of that stuff.

They don’t care, but it surprises me how many of their fans so willingly eat the shit they’re given.

Sony got a massive shitstorm, let’s see how much Nintendo’s nostalgia armor protects them from doing the exact same thing.

I mean, clicking a game and selecting the appropriate version is one more button to press. Not exactly a significant step up from “dead simple”. It seems like it’s only ever a slight issue if you’ve got the PS4 version installed and then the PS5 version is released later and you want to replace it.

That’s not how FF7R worked at all for me. I just chose to install the PS5 version, since I didn’t have the PS4 version installed before that. So it’s definitely supposed to be possible to install only the one version.

Wow. That sounds really tedious.

That complaint is legitimate though. Why would I want to see a whole bunch of the building behind a dude? I’d rather see what’s going on around them, with a wide picture.

Seems about on par for Korea 2022 to me.
