That’s... actually one of the more gracious ways to admit cheating I’ve ever seen. Admitting, deleting all the fake stuff, and paying back the money. Deleting the socials is probably a wise decision for his own sake. More people should do that regardless of admission of guilt.

Those expensive actor “starring this dude” bait and switches are pretty lame. But I actually like it when a show introduces a character as a main character only to off them. Especially if it happens more than once. It makes it feel less like plot armor is afoot than in some other shows.
