Yeah, If they had shown, like, Venom’s chest spider logo and nothing else would’ve been a hint. Showing the actual character fully voiced? That’s a reveal and confirmation.

Darwin out there doing his thang in the countryside.

Yup. Americans don’t realize this.

Certainly a very big step above the “this is absurd and made up by politicians” tier of responses.

A huge loss of hard won customer trust and brand image is not necessarily a minor hardship.

The response from Paradox seems like something other game development companies could learn from.

To be fair Nintendo tends to think that even fan games that make zero or negative money will destroy their business. Other than the obvious shame from games like AM2R being strictly better than their own effort in that regard, I think they’re a bit out of touch.

The one I use is https://dentex.github.io/ fwiw.

I like watching some youtube videos on my phone, and on Android there’s an app called, fittingly, “Youtube Downloader” that does this. It works quite well and is a great way to avoid Youtube buffering for no reason or switching quality just when you want to see what’s happening. It’s not in the play store so you’ll

XCOM-esque, Slay the Spire-esque, Marvel... it’s like they made this game just for me. With almost 200 hours in STS the stuff they showed here really enticed me. Especially if each hero has a fairly unique play style. Dr Strange being card draw / storm focused, Wolverine being aoe focused with maybe some enrage

Might be something like a purely cosmetic skin slot that overwrites your other actually-gives-stats gear. Or the cosmetic gear limits you to the default attacks.

But if they were to, for example, continue development with decidedly not-nintendo characters and models, only for some intrepid entirely unrelated third party to make a mod post-release that changes all those assets to their Metroid counterparts... would that be okay?

Looking forward to Josso McCroo.

There’s some skeptics in the comments here, but I’m a big MCU fan and loved the new XCOM games, so I’m actually surprisingly excited about this. Like naively excited like a kid.

Does this mean they’ll finally make rocket launchers anywhere close to being viable power weapons?

I’ve had some pretty rough raids too, and even an early leaver due to a silly wipe. But all those raids have pulled together and finished in the end. Gotta give people a chance to learn. Or remember the damn mechanics in my case, since I haven’t played in a few years. :P

“Finger glove” does sound like the thing you tell your kids when they find one.

Dare I ask if this means that players will be able to skip the long list of publishers and developers before the title screen :O? A rare treat, to be sure.

The old one has some merits, especially the OVAs. It has a much slower pacing, which basically just means that a lot of things get more space and screentime. Greed Island for example starts in episode 71 in the original and 59 in the remake and is also shorter. Funny episodes like the rock paper scissors battle have

I was ready to fire off some shots if this list mentioned Evangelion and didn’t contain Nadesico. But it did. Good job.
