....His Hammaconda dont want none unless you got cats, hon..."

Heyyyy there, Chris Hardwick.

Men get very angry when you challenge their entitlement to do whatever the fuck they want.

damn you're a scumbag

I understand why these posts bugged a lot of commenters, but I found them legitimately funny. This one in particular:

Uh.... No. No I did not miss it. Its in the first paragraph of THIS article. Thats the whole point. What the hell.

I get what you're saying completely. Boss' often tell you, "yeah, sure, doing XYZ is fine," and later you see that, no, actually that was a really fucking stupid thing to do.

Over-communicating in situations like this is always smart. You can't give people information often enough, or via enough media. (Assuming it's GOOD information and not "Arrgggghhh we're all gonna die!")

No question, this is the fault of the hospital and the CDC. They have the final say, they're to blame.

I completely agree that the hospital and CDC are to blame here. That said, she knew she was at risk. It's just a given: You work with an Ebola patient, you are at risk. I'm not saying she should've opted to lock herself in her home for 21 days—I just think you should avoid hopping on an airplane if you can avoid it

This story is so tragic. Such suffering, to have to live in Dallas AND get married in Cleveland.

Or just buy ethically-raised meat. But you probably enjoy maintaining your holier-than-thou affect, so whatever.

They're music

The second question would be "Why did no one veto that band name?"

It's a medical procedure. Some people get scared, some get sad, some don't care, some are over-the-moon when it's over. The fact that everyone is always emphasizing the emotional reaction strikes me as very sexist - no one doggedly asks men for their emotional reactions after their medical procedures.

While I'm certain this individual feels legitimate stress over her decision, I take HUGE issues with this pervasive narrative thay abortion is always a massive decision with overwhelming emotional consequences, and this is why we should always respect a woman's right to choose.

The amazing thing is that Eli was totally fine, walked off the field without any help, and made it to the Meadowlands in plenty of time to lead the Giants by the Falcons.

"You should cower with shame."

Is there steak in that?

I explained to him that filet mignon is a steak, a very nice cut of beef. This guy actually argued with me, causing a big scene.
