Definitely check CMoA (free admission for the permanent collection!) and MOCA. The rock hall is a blast, Melt is divine and head to the West Side Market for some good local produce and meat. In Woodmere, there's B-Spot which is a good burger joint, and on Mondays the Zoo is free, but it's inexpensive during the week…

So, my buddy and her husband have been here for a year while she interned at the place I work at. She has to go back to Brazil now since her visa is up, and I'm gonna miss her like crazy!!! I've really come to love her and her husband as great friends. BUT! She'll be back in a few months — she is finalizing some stuff…

Ah, the time off is heavenly. Since I'm finally out of school it's been a lot easier too because I don't have to plan all my visits around his leave and my school breaks. It works out well. The only times that really suck are the ones like now where he is off grid for weeks at a time.
