Ha yeah, airborne folks are pretty cool. But don't sell yourself short! My bf couldn't do his job without good intel, so you rock too! And he has nothing but good things to say about pilots, too! ^_^

:-) Thank you. I'll own it! I ran my first 5k!

Yes. He's been in 12 years with six Iraq tours and one to Haiti immediately after the earthquake for disaster relief a couple years ago.

Holy crap that heating pad idea is awesome! I'll be doing that!

Well it's well deserved! My boyfriend is army and is currently off grid since he's doing lord-knows-what kind of airborne training in Louisiana for three weeks! haha enjoy your time off!!!!

Yay for not being on duty! I was an RA as an undergrad and an RD in grad school. As much as I loved my job, there is something sweet about not being on duty on a weekend night! :-)

YAY!!!! good luck to you too! I know you will have fun. I thought I'd be nervous, but it was good. Just hundreds of people who enjoy running. There was no pressure, and doing it en masse was so inspiring! :-) You can do it!

yay!!! Leave is the best!! Military I take it?

Thanks! I am celebrating, if by that you mean watching Modern Family and vegging out hahaha!

Thank you!!! I'm officially addicted! It was just a really good time! =D

So today I ran my first race! It wasn't a biggie — just a 5k. BUT I FEEL SO VALIDATED! I can't wait to do more! And, my good friend came in from Chicago to run it with me, and another buddy who regularly does marathons and stuff ran too! My time wasn't terrible (33:14) and I'm kind of proud. And, we ran in tutus,

This a million times. She was clearly surprised, but certainly not rattled...

Yeah, not only did she start the whole thing but several witnesses say he asked her more than once to pay her fare or GTFO, and he DID call transit police. She acted like a goddamn asshole when she hit him, spit on him, and all this while he was driving.

My bad! I didn't mean to reply to your comment!

I'm glad to say that I was/am fortunate enough to have a mom that was always super open about this stuff. My first talk happened when I was about 5 or 6 year old when the "where do babies come from?" questions start. My mom was really great about it! I remember even when we were young, she always referred to our

I'm just gonna leave this here:

lol!!! Thank you for the laugh that I needed today!

Sadly, I don't remember... It was worsted, but I can't remember the brand because it's been a while. :-( I'm sowwy!

I met her. She was fabulous.

Check out Ravelry. I have tripped upon some good patterns there! I made this a couple years ago for my bf's son.
