Is it weird that my Focus treated me well for way longer than it needed too and I really like the 2017 C-Max I’m driving now and the words “former Ford C-Max and Ford Focus plant” made me sad?

Eh, even when I was 8 years old I was irritated by Otis. He was useless at all things and even then I felt condescended too that I was clearly supposed to find him funny.
Hackman as Luthor was fine, but the fact that he kept Otis around lowered by opinion of him as a villian. He can’t be *that* great if Otis is the

A good friend of mine tells a story about the time she was on lunchbreak at the Maid service she worked for in college & pulled out a can of SPAM she for some reason had in her lunchbag. She noticed the British girl she was working with got all wide-eyed at it & she offered it too her.
The girl got teary eyed and tried

I remember once figuring out that the OG She-Ra show featured He-Man in 1 out of every 5 episodes. If you were watching it after school on a weekday you didn’t have to go a full week without seeing him.
It’s like the powers that be at the time were terrified that She-Ra couldn’t carry her own show.

Or that one episode of OG BattleStar Galactica where the guy who created Quantum Leap 10 years later wrote an episode where Apollo had to Leap into a guy who can help negotiate a peace treaty and everyone saw the other guy instead of Richard Hatch and Starbuck has to communicate with the Galactica/Ziggy to talk

My friend who graduated High School in 1999 had Christmas lights in her room too. She would manually change the strobe settings depending on which CD she was listening too (Alanis Morissette, the Crow Soundtrack, and Pink Floyd IIRC). Where does that put her on the Cheugi/OldSchoolCool heatmap?

From what I can see, she knows what she is doing and I’m willing to believe whatever number of stings she is taking she is OK with.
If she is “inspiring” others to do stupid things around bees, well that is what stingers are for.

But her vidoes *are* deceptive and heavily edited. There was one last week where she

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - Another fun movie, but I think Micheal Cera was just a little too old for the part. Every time he was with Nails it just felt a little too creepy. If that was the point, I obviously missed it. Otherwise another that should have been winner.

Back when windows 3.1 was still around there were good arguments for the various Norton/Symantec/McAfee utilities. Those arguments have gotten weaker with every version of Windows since then. And there have been 10 versions in those 25+ years.
At this point I don’t even run a 3rd party AV. Windows Defender works well

Jhamin actually.. I’ve been using some variant of this since I signed up for my first BBS in 1990.
It doesn’t mean anything, Its my name with a few letters added/removed.

I don’t know that I agree.
I’d rather my mother remain unengaged than have her donating to “anti-steal” militias.

Am I the only one who wants a Ken Burns style documentary on the history of the parental toy brawls?
Lots of black & white photos of people duking it out over Cabbage Patch kids and narrators reading interview accounts of target employees asking “WTF is that about?”

I don’t know that it does.
Who cares who invented something long ago? Focusing on cars since 1990 seems pretty reasonable in a discussion about what “young” people are doing in 2021.  If you have to be 60 to remember a car, it isn’t a factor for your average 26 year old.

The big problem is that all those affordable compact SUVs aren’t actually affordable. The average wage for a 30 year old in the US is around $30k, and Ford wants $26K for an Ecosport SE.

This feels like what people I know have experienced.
My friends and family are pretty prosperous midwesterners with real jobs and enough money to buy houses, but the cars just seem so *expensive* that none of us can justify buying new.
I’m driving a 2017 C-Max because it’s the only thing I found under 40K where I don’t

The two things I’d have to say on this are:

I sort of assumed that Far From Home takes place after FaWS, or at least at the same time. There was enough time to have Aunt May setup her charity for the bounced and I got the sense school had been back in session for a few months before the trip.

I know every time I got current with Wandavision Disney+ tried to get me to watch Age of Ultron.  So if I had been in the woods about this Pietro guy there were suggestions as how to get current.

I give this feature 6 months of active pushing, 2 years of decreasing engagement by Microsoft, then being quietly killed about 4 years from now.

Kind of like the “Groove Music Pass”, “People”, and “Windows to Go”

Regarding Nat’s Peanut Butter... there is a thing going around the internet where someone zoomed in on the jar & figured out her Peanut Butter had expired like 2 years before the scene in question was supposed to be happening.
In actuality, it was almost certainly because they used an off the shelf jar to film a scene
