So, there seems to be a big thread going through this trailer that we should be worried about Ahsoka fighting beard guy. Lots of “I won’t always be there to look after you” type stuff.

Season 2 is supposedly based on some ideas Gaiman and Pratchett were kicking around but never got as far as writing into another book.
Apparently a lot of the heaven stuff from Season 1 came from the things that had gotten a bit more formalized, but would have been in book 2 had that ever happened.
It is my headcannon that Jane Krakowski’s appearance is Cirque DeFreak is actually one of her 30 Rock character’s failed attempt at breaking into movies.
I maintain that Dracula 2000 has a bunch of good ideas that are absolutely undercut by how campy everyone is in the movie.
How can this list not include Red Mage from FF I!?! (The other Warriors of Light are cool too, but we all know Red Mage is the protagonist)
I remember long ago seeing an interview where one of the people who made the GI Joe movie mentioned that the name “Cobra-La” was a very obvious in-joke that the writers were using as a place holder until they got the real name down... until a Hasbro Exec heard the name, didn’t get it was a joke, and decided it had to…
It is a very minor point all things considered, but in a TNG episode Picard’s archeology mentor gives him an artifact the mentor recovered and they both geek out about how rare and well preserved it is.
All three of us who get that reference give you a thumbs up!
Like, of course this will pass, its a demonstration of what they can do if they go through with the API pricing, and THAT blackout may not pass.
I am in agreement with you. I get the love everyone has for Spiderman 2, but for me the first was always the best.
If the “Wacky” Renfield character was the tone the director wanted I am *incredibly* glad Murphy refused to go there. He brought a dignity to his character that all the really compelling Vampires have.. and it the only really interesting part of the movie.
I was on it for about 4 months & felt constantly nauseated. I missed work 2-3 times in while I was on it because I couldn’t leave the bathroom. I had to stop because while it did help my blood sugar and I did loose weight... I was miserable the whole time.
The best, uncommented on thing in Haijyu!! is that the cast will setup these amazing, life or death plays that rest upon who they are as people and dig deep into their hot-blooded Shonin natures to work....
I was all ready to like Triangle Strategy, but it was like 80% cutscenes! I enjoy a plot but I wanted to actually take the combat engine out for a drive & you get like one battle and then 10-20 min of dialogue.
If you can, for the team, keep on living that would be awesome.
Now now, Avatar steals from a lot more stuff than just Tarzan and Dances with Wolves. Google “Call me Joe” some time.
Some kids think about what they are presented with. I did. My Friends did.
Children you know will.
A take I heard a long time ago in a forum discussion about Transformers Gender was that it probably wasn’t a thing when they lived on Cybertron, but that when they came to earth & learned our language & changed their bodies so they could change into earth vehicles they were also learning our culture & figuring out how…
Only because you are looking at the graphics.
I think the temptation of a reboot is that you look at a media property and say “look at how all these things fit together so well! we could just do this again, maybe take out a couple cringy bits, and it will be magic!”
