Remember the Go-Bots that...go-botted into rocks?

I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong.

Scoob?  Voice actors? Azul Falcon?  Sound like a Laugh-A-Lympics movie to me.

I kinda have to wonder if there’s just an entire generation of aging nerds who seem incapable of dealing with the fact that their brains are no longer capable of producing serotonin in the same magnitude that it did when they were teenagers - and they’ve decided to make it everyone else’s problem.

In the comics, Professor Hulk was created when Banner went to Dr Samson for psychotherapy and Samson “merged” Banner’s various personalities. Professor Hulk had Banner’s mind, Green Hulk’s body and just a hint of Grey Hulk’s attitude. He was delighted to be “cured”.

“Why didn’t we see the entire process of him becoming Professor Hulk? Like, there’s some stuff in Endgame they didn’t even spell out in exhaustive detail! Why isn’t this movie thinking for me?”

Wow, the entitlement remains strong in ‘fandom’ even after this triumph of cinema. I personally was completely not expecting this version of the Hulk, but after the initial shock, I found him to be an amazing part of the film. After the heavy scenes of Scott finding out he was thought dead, reuniting with Cassie, his neurotically going to Avengers HQ and the gang’s going to Stark, it was much-needed levity.

Hulk was smart for years in the comics.

Stark *calls* him Lebowski, but that doesn’t mean that Thor is supposed to be an actual expy of The Dude.

I feel like the thought process is by now, the people who were going to see the movie on principle have seen it, so now they have to the cool parts to try to convince the “I’ll catch it on Netflix” crowd that it’s worth seeing on the big screen.

They also removed the much more vulgar bit where Hulk dabs while saying “Dab!”
