Yeah, I don’t get how there’s any plausible deniability at this point. His best bet would be to cry “deep state” and that he had to look into it himself, and that Ukraine was somehow in on some conspiracy with Biden...I mean he is kind of doing that already, but after the fact.

The 1/3rd or so of Americans who don’t believe Trump is hopelessly corrupt probably are not going to buy that it is a quid pro quo unless it is explicit, and maybe not even then. 

Also there doesn’t need to be any quid pro quo for him to be impeached for asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on his political opponent. 

For all the trolls bleating about the supposed lack of an “explicit quid pro quo,” it’s right there in the middle of the fucking call:

Most of the competent Republican staffers either already resigned from the administration or are staying as far away as possible because they know that serving in the Trump administration will end up being more of a resume killer than a resume builder.
