I’m in the pro-Hillary camp and it annoys the fuck out of me. It completely ignores where Bernie’s actual support is coming from and who is energized behind him. People like me want the Bernie supporters to vote for HIllary when she likely wins the nomination. Thinking of that support as a all dudes isn’t helpful.

Presidents can direct Federal agencies to investigate and charge banks and actual human Wall Street employees with crimes, as well as ensure that regulatory agencies are doing their due diligence.

That’s certainly a part of it, but I’m sure she believed she worked hard for her money and her kids deserve the same. My mom is like that, but I doubt she’ll vote. I’m really trying to get her to register and vote Bernie, but I doubt it’ll happen.

I live in a rural, white, conservative area in New York State so I see this level of cognitive dissonance all the time.

“No, no... you misunderstand... her kids are white.”

Thank you! And it’s still in the greys, like this entire cool discussion among many sensible fun people...

You forgot distract them with social issues like abortion and gay people.

Imma have to go “ muddled anti vaxxer” using the context clue of Monsanto. I don't trust Monsanto either but...I get a distinct whiff of tinfoil from her.

I had no doubt it was real, it was just a hilarious soundbite first thing in the morning. A little New England shade throwing during a blizzard. All the candidates could take subtlety lessons from this woman.

At first I was surprised that Vermin did not ask about whether Ted Cruz would provide ponies to all upon being elected, but then I realized that he wouldn’t want to give Cruz ideas and jeopardize his own platform like that.

Yep. Since I come from the land of the South where we hear this all the time...I’m going to try to explain. I’m not saying they’re *right* — I’m going to try to explain.

First off - “Rosemary”, so guessing 70+. Right? She is afraid of GMOs...definitely spouting anti-vaxxer nonsense.

I just don’t understand the “how” of it, would they basically gerrymander zones where if you live in them you get $6000 off? but if you are cut so that you just miss it do you pay $2500 more? people would notice and fight back. One of the quoted women mentions that the government shouldn’t pay for it, so how the hell

these are the things that make me rage stroke.

Nothing in life is free, and that’s what really needs to be fixed here and in the whole country. The people are living off the system.

“I’m most afraid of the same as the last four years. Nothing in life is free, and that’s what really needs to be fixed here and in the whole country. The people are living off the system. The people that are coming in and we’re helping out more than we’re helping out our own. And school has to be fixed, we’re paying

Thanks so much for your thoughtful explanation and clarification of your comment! I now understand what you were originally trying to say.

Like I said, I read your comments and didn’t think you were promoting any religious or ultra-conservative angle. In fact, I completely agree with your last paragraph. I think I just wanted to shed a little light on why you got some "eye-rolling" on your first post.

Anna Merlan: No. I bet he lightly gels his chest hair.
